Description
These Viper SRT-10 Fender Vent Covers are the highest-quality parts of their kind in the world!
These extremely polished stainless steel fender vent covers fit directly on top of your existing vent louvers (in front of the front wheel) in your fender vent.
Each of the eight custom pieces is designed to fit a specific louver on your car.
All pieces are made from stainless steel — they won’t rust or corrode.
They are real attention-getters!
Easy to mount in minutes. They really stand out and get compliments.
Each piece (8 pcs) covers the entire Viper louver. When installed properly, they will stay in place and will not come off due to heat, cold, or vibration.
Included:
- 4 x Left Side Vent Louver Covers
- 4 x Right Side Vent Louver Covers (each marked for its specific louver)
- 2 x Tape Test Kits
- 2 x Promoter Packets
NOTE: Your new covers come with a protective liner. Do not remove the liner until installation is complete.
- Clean all four (4) matte black vent steps (louvers), including the very bottom of each opening. Use a damp cloth to remove any dirt or road grime. Then scrub the areas with rubbing alcohol, wipe again with a damp cloth, and let them dry completely.
- Before mounting your vent covers, test the adhesion of the surface. Using the provided test strip tape (or masking tape), stick it to several areas of the car’s body where you’ll mount your covers. If the tape sticks easily, proceed. If not, clean again until the tape adheres properly in all areas.
- Each vent step cover is marked as Driver Side 1–4 or Passenger Side 1–4. Before permanent installation, place each piece on its corresponding vent louver to check fitment. This trial run will help you see how each piece fits and confirm that you have all the parts.
You’ll find that each cover needs to be positioned at a slight angle to fit between the vent louvers inside the fender space. Once you’re familiar with the correct placement, you can begin installation. - You have been provided with two adhesive promoter packets. Use one to wipe the areas where the vent step covers will be mounted. Note: Once your covers are stuck in place, they cannot be removed without damaging them, so take your time.
- Remove the red plastic liner from the #4 Cover (the bottom plate) and place it into position. Press down firmly once it’s in place. Then continue upward, attaching each piece one at a time.
- Follow the same procedure on the other side of the car until all vent step covers are securely in place.
