Viper SRT/10 (2003-2010) Rear Valance Upper Trim Molding

Description

Chrome vinyl trim strip for your Viper SRT-10 upper rear valance adds a refined, stylish touch to your rear end.

Very easy to install. It won’t rust or corrode.
When installed properly, it will stay securely in place and will not come off due to heat, cold, or vibration.

PARTS INCLUDED:

• 1 x Self-Adhesive Chrome Vinyl Trim Strip
• 1 x Adhesive Promoter Pack
• 1 x Tape Test Stick Kit

1. Thoroughly clean the rear bumper area where the Chrome Strip will be mounted using soap and water.
   Let it dry completely, then clean the surface with household rubbing alcohol to remove any oily residue.
2. Take the Chrome Molding Strip (with the backing still on) and hold it up to the bumper where it will be mounted.
   Move it around until you are satisfied with its fit.
3. Open the adhesive promoter packet provided and wipe the specific area where the Chrome Strip will be mounted.
4. Remove about 12 inches of the backing from one end of the Chrome Strip, letting the rest hang loose.
   Line up the end of the Chrome Strip with the edge of the area on the rear bumper where it will be mounted, and press it into place.
   Hold the end firmly and continue pressing the Chrome Strip onto the bumper, moving from the attached end toward the center.
   Remove the remaining backing as you go, pressing firmly until the entire strip is mounted.
5. Once fully mounted, press very firmly from the center outward along the entire length of the strip to ensure a secure bond.
   Repeat this process for the other side if applicable.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE:

Note: Handle your chrome trim carefully when cleaning.
Lightly dust it first with a clean, soft cloth to avoid scratches.
Then, wipe it with a new soft cloth and a high-quality, streak-free glass cleaner.
