These lines deliver quicker, firmer, and more consistent pedal response by maintaining steady brake pressure. The stainless steel construction ensures precise brake modulation, especially during threshold braking. Pedal feel improvements are particularly noticeable on older vehicles where factory rubber lines may have softened or swelled over time.

StopTech brake lines feature a PTFE (commonly known as Teflon) inner tube that carries the brake fluid, reinforced with a layer of stainless steel woven braid. The PTFE tube resists expansion under pressure and remains unaffected by exposure to brake fluid. The braided stainless steel provides strong support, while the durable weave resists impact and abrasion. Additionally, a clear, abrasion-resistant PVC coating adds protection, and strain relief devices reinforce the end fittings. Various end fittings are available to meet most application requirements. All fittings are engineered for precise fit and lasting durability. Each kit includes all necessary brackets and fasteners for easy installation.

Additional Notes:

  • PTFE inner liner resists expansion under pressure. Stainless steel woven braid protects against impact and abrasion. Clear PVC cover prevents chafing, and strain relief devices strengthen end fittings.
  • Includes lines for both sides of the vehicle.
  • 100% pressure tested in-house to 4,500 PSI — nearly four times the typical master cylinder pressure.
  • DOT-compliant and meets or exceeds FMVSS 106, as well as applicable international and EU standards.
