Included are two factory emblems: one “DODGE” and one “VIPER” in black.

Removing old emblem and mounting replacement emblems

Mounting Instructions

1. First, wash the area on the car where you will mount the emblems using soap and water. Next, wipe down the area with rubbing alcohol to remove any oils from the paint surface. This will not harm your paint.
2. Removing the old emblem: Use masking tape to outline the logo on the bottom, top, and left sides (not the right side). This will help you align the new emblem. See Diagram 1.
3. Take the included pink scraper and carefully slide it underneath the old emblem (Diagram 2). The tool should remove the emblem easily without scratching the paint.
4. Important: Some mounting surfaces are curved. Slightly bend the new emblem’s letters to match the curve of your car’s surface. Test the fit by setting the emblem on the car. Adjust until it fits properly. See Diagram 5.
5. Hold your new emblem up to the mounting spot without peeling off the backing. Familiarize yourself with its placement before sticking it.
6. If your emblem came with a “map” (stencil), place it over the desired area. Insert each emblem letter into the cut-out spaces on the map. Once completed, peel off the map.
7. Peel the liner off the back of the new emblem. Carefully and slowly hold it up to the mounting area. Gently place it without pressing down. Make any small adjustments needed (see Diagrams 3 and 4). Once aligned, press firmly across the entire emblem surface to form a tight bond. Remove the masking tape. You’re done!

NOTE: You can also use a pencil to mark small tick marks on the masking tape for exact letter or symbol placement.

Once you are satisfied, take the included packet of promoter and wipe the area where the new emblem will mount using the damp towelette. This will not damage your paint.
