Description

This high-quality, polished stainless steel cutout can be mounted almost anywhere. It features a self-adhesive, peel-and-stick backing for easy mounting and can be placed either inside or outside the area of interest.

Stainless Steel or Vinyl Trim Piece

Installation Instructions

Included: Stainless steel trim piece(s), one packet of promoter or promoter pen.
You may mount this trim inside or outside of your vehicle. It will not rust or corrode.

  1. Clean the surface area with soap and water. Important: Thoroughly scrub with rubbing alcohol to ensure there are no invisible oils on the surface.
  2. Take a piece of masking tape and stick it to the surface. If it sticks, you’ve cleaned enough and can move to the next step. If not, re-clean.
  3. Open the foil packet of promoter or promoter pen included. This clear solution will not damage your vehicle’s finish. Ensure the temperature is between 60°F – 85°F. Wipe down the area where you will mount the trim piece and let it dry for two minutes.
  4. Hold the trim part up to the area where you want to mount it to check fit. If your trim piece is metal, gently bend it by hand to conform to the shape of the mounting surface. Make sure it fits perfectly before continuing.
  5. Once you are sure of the fit, peel the red backing off the trim part. Carefully set it in place, make small adjustments if needed, and then press down firmly along the entire surface.
  6. Let the trim set overnight without getting it wet.
