Installation Instructions
Applying your new logo(s):
- First, wash the area where your current logos are to be replaced with soap and water. Let it dry for a few minutes.
- Important: Thoroughly scrub the area with rubbing alcohol to remove any invisible oils.
- Use the provided packet or small promoter pen. Apply the clear, moist promoter solution to the exact area where you will mount your emblem(s). The promoter will not damage your car’s paint. Any excess can be wiped away with rubbing alcohol. The foil packet contains a moistened sponge. If you have the pen applicator, bend it until the inner glass ampoule breaks, then press the sponge tip against paper until the liquid flows. Now you are ready to apply it to your surface.
- If you need to remove an existing emblem, continue. If not, skip to step 6.
- Use the included pink scraper to gently pry and remove your existing emblem(s). You may see slight residue outlines where each letter was—this will help you gauge where to place your new logos.
- Hold the new emblem up to the mounting area to determine placement. Ensure whoever installs it aligns it straight (perpendicular to the ground).
- Use the provided test tape or masking tape and stick it to the cleaned surface in several spots. If it sticks, continue to step 8. If not, re-clean until it adheres properly.
- Gently peel the white paper backing off one of your new emblems (Diagram A). The logo will remain on the clear top liner. Hold the emblem near the desired position without touching the car at first to get comfortable with placement. Once satisfied, lightly touch it to the surface and make any tiny adjustments. When the positioning is perfect, press firmly over the entire surface to ensure a strong bond. Then gently peel off the clear liner (Diagram B). Finally, wipe down the letters and the surrounding surface. Any leftover residue from the original logos can be removed with rubbing alcohol.
