Up to 25 HP! Best SCT Viper Engine Upgrade Tune in the World!
This tune is developed by the world’s best Viper tuners. Viper RT/10 and GTS owners can now flash-program their Powertrain Control Modules (PCM) to modify engine system operations or correctly manage aftermarket modifications without needing piggyback or inline controllers or a replacement PCM. The factory PCM’s capability is extensive and can now be easily programmed by the end user without removing a single screw.
The flash programmers (XCal3) can hold a total of three custom tunes plus the stock tune. Users can switch between these tunes at any time by plugging the programmer into the OBD-II port under the driver’s dash. Authorized SCT/DCX dealers can edit these tunes whenever the car is upgraded. With LiveLoad software, tunes can be emailed and uploaded by the customer at home. The XCal3 VIN locks to your car upon use but can be unlocked and moved to another vehicle for a fee. The device can also read and erase DTCs to clear check engine lights and diagnose faults.
The purchase includes one (1) XCal3 and up to three (3) basic tunes. Additional tunes can be added later, but are not required at purchase. Our lab works with you to adjust parameters such as injector scaling, fan temps, spark and fuel maps, decel fuel modes, etc. Customers can choose their own parameters, or we can select them. There are no hidden fees for custom tunes. Large-scale custom tuning is available for heavily modified engines at an hourly rate.
This device is a “must-have” for all Gen 2 Viper owners. Vipers from 1996–2002 will also see significantly faster 0–60 mph times.
Processor Code: Select your processor code (found on your PCM). If your code is not listed, contact us to add it. The PCMs for 1996–2002 models are located under a cover on the driver side, in front of the door hinge, secured to the toe box. Also, select the number of tunes you wish to start with—additional tunes can be added later.
The price includes one (1) advanced upgrade tune and allows up to three (3) custom tunes. Each additional tune incurs an extra cost (call for price). We require details of all modifications to your Viper and the fuel you will use.
Adding up to 25 rear-wheel horsepower and 25 rear-wheel torque is simple and cost-effective. The SCT flash device enables quick power upgrades by plugging into the OBD-II port and downloading low, medium, or high-performance custom tunes. The SCT XCalibrator 3 includes one (1) performance tune, custom-written and tested, with skip-shift delete and fan activation at 181°F (vs. stock 210°F). The tool also diagnoses check engine lights and clears trouble codes while retaining your factory tune for stock reversion.

Important: If your vehicle has modifications such as a supercharger, turbocharger, nitrous, or upgraded cam, this tune is not available. We cannot delete catalytic converters due to federal regulations.
