Description

Reduce side sill and interior temperatures by up to 60 degrees with this space-age thermal insulation material! Works on all Vipers.

Wraps around the exhaust in the side sills. The kit includes enough material for both sides of your Viper, along with stainless steel tie wraps for an easy do-it-yourself installation. It can withstand temperatures exceeding 2100 degrees Fahrenheit — nearly ten times what your exhaust produces. Excellent for all applications where heat is a problem. Includes both passenger and driver sides.

Included: 2 × 60″ long insulation blankets, 8 × 18″ metal zip ties, 2 pairs of protective gloves

NOTE: Whenever handling the insulation blankets, be sure to wear protective gloves (included) and a long-sleeve shirt. Wash exposed skin with ice-cold water once complete.

  1. Remove the rocker panels from the car.
  2. Clean and wipe down the area.
  3. Remove any paper from the insulation (use only the white insulation when wrapping).
  4. Carefully wrap the insulation blanket around the exhaust pipe under the door. Do not wrap too tightly—just enough to hold it in place. Trim the insulation blanket as needed with scissors or a razor knife.
  5. Install 4 metal zip ties to secure.
  6. Reinstall the rocker panel.
  7. Repeat the process on the other side of the car.

NOTES:

  1. Always wear protective gloves (included) and a long-sleeve shirt when handling the insulation blankets.
  2. If the insulation gets soaked while driving, allow it to air out before reuse.
