Limited Warranty for PCM Repair Service

This repair on your PCM (Powertrain Control Module) has a 120-day limited warranty from the day it was shipped to you. The warranty is enforced by Hot Car Accessories, Inc. (HCA) at its sole judgment.

This PCM is delivered, inspected, and tested to be in good working order.

For problems that occur and are covered under this warranty, HCA will repair your PCM under the warranty conditions within the warranty period.

Covered under this warranty:

• Repairs performed by HCA on the PCM

Not covered under this warranty:

• Circuit chip failures caused by power surges from the engine, components, or electrical system
• Improper battery disconnection or reconnection
• Using the vehicle’s battery to jump-start another vehicle
• Cracked or broken PCMs due to installation or removal
• Improper installation or removal of the PCM
• Removal of stickers or seals applied by HCA or its authorized labs

If you experience problems covered under warranty:

• Call us first for a return authorization number and the correct return address at (352) 688-8160, Monday–Friday.
• Send the PCM to HCA with the return authorization number clearly written on the box. Include your name, address, phone number, email, and a detailed description of the problem. Pack and ensure the PCM to ensure safe delivery.
• HCA will inspect and repair the PCM if necessary.
• If the PCM is found to be in good working order, you will be responsible for diagnostic and return shipping costs. If a covered fault is found, return shipping is free within the USA and Canada (international customers must pay for return shipping).

Termination of Warranty:

• If HCA repairs your PCM and issues persist, it indicates another mechanical or electrical problem affecting the PCM, and the warranty will be void.
• If the PCM has been opened, unsealed, tampered with, or has missing parts, as determined by HCA.
• If the PCM shows signs of burns or external damage.

HCA is not liable for any monetary amount exceeding the price paid to HCA for this service. Once the PCM is accepted by the customer, installer, or installed in any vehicle, you acknowledge that HCA has the sole authority to determine whether PCM issues fall under this limited warranty.
