Designed to mate with stock 3/8″ ring bolts.
Why upgrade gears? To maximize your power and torque at launch and at lower speeds for racing. You shift some of your power from the very top end (around 190 mph) to the lower range. A gear change can make your car feel like it has gained 50–70 hp on takeoff!
Note: You can use the heavier-duty 2001–2002 gears on your 1992–2000 Viper by boring out the 10 ring gear bolt holes from the stock 3/8″ to the upgraded 7/16″. While this doesn’t increase performance, it provides a more durable, longer-lasting gear set. Call us for more details at 352-688-8160 (Mon–Fri, EST).
