Description

Really makes your engine pop! Easy peel-and-stick mounting, designed to go on your engine valve cover letters and three Viper symbols. Includes all stainless steel mirror-polished parts to cover all letters and symbols on the right and left valve covers. Dimensions: 2.75″ wide x 2.75″ high. Total of 10 letters and 3 emblems—enough to cover each valve cover.

Installation Instructions

Items Included: Stainless steel letters & logos (3 x Snake Head emblems, 2 x Viper word logos), 1 x promoter packet or pen.

Instructions:

  1. You should have pieces that spell out “VIPER” and a total of three emblems (2 for one side and 1 for the other) for both valve covers. Nineteen pieces in all.
  2. When your engine is cool to the touch, wash the area on your engine’s valve covers with rubbing alcohol where you will mount the letters. It is a good idea to lightly roughen the valve cover letter’s surface so the trim letters will stick better. You can use some sandpaper.
  3. Without removing the rear red liner on the letters, set each letter on top of the cover to check the fit. They should fit perfectly on each letter.
  4. Once you are comfortable with the placement, take your promoter packet or pen and open it (snap the pen at its midpoint to initiate). Wipe down the raised 3-D letters and logos on the valve covers where you will mount your new stainless steel letters.
  5. Let dry for 2 minutes. Remove the backing from one letter at a time and place it on top of the valve cover in the correct position. Press firmly along the entire surface of each letter. If your letters have a clear plastic protective seal on top, peel it off at this time.
  6. Let it sit overnight.
  7. Clean with a good glass cleaner as needed.
