This tune is created by the world’s best Viper engine tuners! Finally, Dodge RAM SRT-10 owners can flash-program their Powertrain Control Modules (PCMs) to modify how engine systems operate or to properly manage aftermarket engine upgrades—without piggyback controllers, inline modules, or replacement PCMs. The factory PCM is more capable than expected and can now be easily programmed by the end user without removing a single screw.
The SCT XCal3 flash programmer can store up to three custom tunes plus the stock tune. Users can switch between tunes anytime by plugging the controller into the OBD-2 port under the driver’s side dashboard. Authorized SCT/DCX dealers like us can modify these tunes at any time, and with LiveLoad software, customers can receive updated tunes via email and upload them at home. The programmer locks to your vehicle’s VIN once used, but it can be unlocked and transferred to another car for a small fee. The XCal2 can also read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) to reset the check engine light and identify issues.
The purchase includes one XCal3 device and up to three basic tunes. Additional basic tunes can be added later at an extra cost. Our tuning lab will work with you to determine which parameters to adjust, such as injector scaling, fan temperatures, spark and fuel maps, and deceleration fuel modes. You can choose the parameters yourself, or let our experts set them for you. There are no hidden fees—customization is included. Large-scale tuning for highly modified engines is available and billed hourly.

Select your processor code (found on your PCM). If your code isn’t listed, contact us to have it added. On 2004–2006 RAM SRT-10 trucks, the PCM is located on the passenger-side firewall behind the upper radiator hose and near the headlight. You can also select the number of tunes you want to start with—additional tunes can be added later.
The price includes one advanced upgrade tune, but the device can hold up to three custom tunes. Each additional tune can be purchased separately (call for pricing). We will need details about all modifications and the type of fuel you plan to use.
