Description
If your Viper’s power steering is dripping near the pump or fan, the factory line is almost certainly the culprit. It’s a well-known weak point on the platform. This power steering line kit replaces both OEM hoses, from the pump to the fan and from the fan to the rack, with a hand-built, high-pressure braided design made in the USA.
Unlike a quick patch job, this is a complete bolt-on kit with smooth-bore steel braided hose, black permanent clamped ends, and an extra port built in if you ever want to add a pressure gauge. Every set ships with a lifetime warranty, so you’re not replacing this again.
Available in black or stainless steel braided finish, and fitted for 2003–2006 and 2008–2010 Viper model years. Select your year at checkout.
This is a special-order item with approximately 1 week delivery. If you’re already dealing with a leak, don’t wait for it to get worse. Order the exact year and finish your Viper needs below.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my power steering lines need to be replaced?
Fluid pooling or dripping near the power steering pump or fan area is the most common sign. These OEM lines are known to leak as they age, so if you’ve noticed low power steering fluid or a wet spot under the front of the car, this is a likely cause.
Which Viper years does this fit?
This kit is available for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2010 model years. Select your exact year at checkout to make sure you get the correct fitment.
What’s the difference between the Black and Stainless Steel finish?
Both use the same smooth-bore, high-pressure braided hose construction and clamped ends. Black gives a factory-style appearance under the hood, while Stainless Steel gives a polished, show-quality look. Performance is identical between the two.
Is this a full replacement kit, or do I need extra parts?
It’s a complete bolt-on kit. Both lines, pump-to-fan and fan-to-rack, are included along with everything needed for installation. No additional fittings need to be sourced separately.
What is the extra port for?
Each line includes a built-in extra port, so you can add a pressure gauge later if you want to monitor your power steering system without having to modify or replace the lines again.
How long does delivery take?
