DODGE Viper SRT/10 Stainless Steel Air Box Cover

INSTRUCTIONS

 PARTS INCLUDED:  1 x Brushed or Polished Stainless Steel Engine Air Box Cover;  1 x Adhesive Promoter Packet     

This new kit is the only one of its type specifically designed to enhance what is already the state of the art engine bay. With this in mind we have come up with a 7pc kit that we believe will step up the look a couple of notches without taking away from the OEM high tech engine bay appearance.

Your new kit comes to you with a clear protective liner. Do not remove this liner until installation is complete.

1.   Prepare the top of the engine air box by scrubbing it with rubbing alcohol. This will remove any road grime and dirt and allow a good adhesion.

2.  Take your new Air Box Trim Cover piece and without removing any of the protective backing or plastic, place the piece on the engine component where it goes. 
      Move the piece around until you become comfortable with exactly how it fits.  You will have to bend the sides so that it fits the contour of the
      engine component snuggly.  Gently bend the metal cover with your hands using gloves or a towel so not to injury yourself or damage the cover.
      Bend and test it by trial and error.  When done it should lay down exactly along the bended sides of the air box.

3.  Now that the area is clean and dry - wipe the factory air box surface with using the adhesive promoter pack provided.

4.  Take the Red backing off the backside of your trim cover.  Hold the trim cover just over the air box without touching it.  Line it up by eye and gently lower it into place. 
     Set it lightly on top of the air box.  Make any tiny adjustments to ensure a proper aligned fit.  Now press the trim top down firmly starting in the center and working your
     way out to each side.

6.  Let sit before starting the engine overnight.   Keep clean with a good glass cleaner.
