DODGE Viper SRT/10 2003-2006 Stainless Steel Engine Bay Trim Kit - 7pc
Part# ACC-973015
INSTRUCTIONS

PARTS INCLUDED:  7 - Stainless Engine Trim Plates;  2 - Adhesive Promoter Packets

This new kit is the only one of its type specifically designed to enhance what is already the state of the art engine bay. With this in mind we have come up with a 7pc kit that we believe will step up the look a couple of notches without taking away from the OEM high tech engine bay appearance.

Your new kit comes to you with a clear protective liner. Do not remove this liner until installation is complete.

1.   Prepare all the seven locations by scrubbing them with rubbing alcohol. This will remove any road grime and dirt and allow a good adhesion.
Once this is done wipe the areas with the adhesive promoter pack provided.

2.  Take each engine trim piece and without removing any of the protective backing or plastic, place each piece on the engine component where it goes.
Move each piece around until you become comfortable with exactly how it fits.  You may have to slightly bend some pieces so that it fits the contour of the
engine component snuggly.  Gently bend the metal cover with your hands using gloves or a towel so not to injury yourself or damage the cover.

3.  Now, temporarily remove the two body bolts just in front of the water tank and fuse box.

4.  Place each stainless insert into position to get acquainted with their placement and also to familiarize yourself with just how they will be placed in position.
This is important because the 3M adhesive is VERY aggressive and will not allow you to remove or reposition once you have set them in place.

 5. Now that all seven areas have been cleaned and prepped simply peel the red release liner from each piece and set them in place. Press firmly to set the parts
     then remove the protective liner.

 6. Replace the two body bolts removed earlier. It will not be necessary to tighten these bolts with great force as these bolts are more of a positioning bolt
then an actual body bolt. Simply snug will be just fine. NOTE: Tighten these bolts too tight will not only be unnecessary but will damage the insert.
