This higher quality Differential is replacement for the stock differential which is no longer available from Dodge.
Includes all parts necessary for installation; 2 out put shafts, ect.

 Why upgrade gears?  To maximize your power and torque on start off and at lower speeds for racing.  You pull some of your power from the very top end 190mph and push it down to the lower end.  A Gear change can make your car feel like its gained 50-70hp on take off!

UNI-SCB02-3 Dodge Viper (2003-2010) Speedometer Calibration Box
(You must recalibrate your speedometer if you change the differential gears.)

If the shop you are having install your new gears does not have one of these - You will need one. 
 
When you have changed the ring and pinion gears in your differential, the speedometer will no longer read the correct speed. This unit electrically corrects the speedometer reading to compensate for the new gear ratio.
